Nope.  Intentions are crucial for making moral judgments.  If, as
Andreas does, one ignores intentions then one can say all sorts of
things but none of it is of moral interest.  It's just politics and
handwaving.

You're using general statements which are close to meaningless ("Terrorists are bad." "Western soldiers are good." "Puppies are cute." "Everyone should smile.")


Phil, look at the facts in those cases as I laid them out for you.

The intentions weren't what you thought they were.

Indeed, to talk about intentions without regard to the actual intentions in specific situations is just politics and handwaving.
