Andreas: The US military should act completely different from the Arab insurrgents. Any indiscriminate killing, any whatsoever, must be punished as manslaughter. Indiscriminate shooting must be forbidden. Civilians must be treated with respect and dignity.

Eric: This sounds good. I agree with the general principle.

So how do you recapture a city like Falujah and maintain these principles? Please explain. What do you mean by "indiscriminate"?
