Most of the things between heaven and earth are not empirical. Some of the
things that are empirical are important but not imperative. None of those
things that are empirical have any necessary relevance to either philosophy or
morality as a sub-discipline of philosophy (i.e., as a specific version of the
philosophical disposition.)
