As I mentioned before, according to the support people, they do not check
with your library, but the request is sent to Washington. Your regional
library will know nothing about this verification. This is what I was told
via email from support@xxxxxxxxxxxxx when I asked what was happening with my
verification.

Hi Jo, and welcome to the list.. When they get the approval from your
regional library you should get an email. Did you check with your library
to make sure they sent your confirmation of disability to bookshare.org?
Then, after the email telling you your disability has been proved, it will
be another two to three weeks after you pay, or at least it was for me. I
hope this helps.

forHello All, Maybe I wasn't clear about the fact that I had already waited two weeks before I sent them an email. And...one of the emails I sent to this list was copied to support at bookshare.org. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to get an emails, something by snail mail or what but it's timeof available commands, put the word 'help' by itself in the subject line.an answer of some kind from them! Thanks to all of you. Jo, Aggie and Salaam
