Ed,
Thanks for the words of advice. I actually know another Amaya user that had
the needle case "accident". Some how he was able to fix it himself. Because
of his words of warning I am extremely careful when I use the HoopTech on my
machine thus my request for the offsets on the large window. I don't want to
make a mistake and calculate something that isn't right and oops, there goes
the needlecase. The hoop setup directions in the Amaya user manual are too
vague for me and I guess if what you say is acurate no one at Melco will be
willing to help me either. Unfortunately this happens an awful lot when
consumers make an expensive purchase, there is always a loophole so the
company doesn't have to stand behind a product. I guess this is where the
buyer beware warning comes in to play. No one responded to my request for
the offsets so I'm stuck using a hoop for this job and that is another issue
altogether!
