Hi Barry.

When you have a skill point, you go in to allocate skill points then press the = and - keys to adjust the skill level of the attribute you want to improve. Remember though that once you've applied your skill points, they can't be claimed back so make sure you check the skill rating for each attribute before hitting the enter key.

All the best, Ibrahim.

ibrahim,

In Entombed how do you increase your abilitys if you have the points for it?

I go into the menu for it and see the list of things i can improve with
their current status. When i hit return though it just chimes at me. This
part of the online manual apparently hasn't been completed.

Cheers
barry.

Hi Barry.

You should also try Sound RTS which describes itself as a strategy MUD game.

Its free and has multi player capability.

All the best, Ibrahim

That Entombed is actually really good ya know.

Very much like a MUD but with 3D SFX and Menus as aposed to typing in
commands.

I'm going to go through it's manual now I've had a quick game and got to
lvl
2, to see what interactions are available if any with the online world.

Barry.

Hi,

I've embarrassed myself enough on here today so one more won't hurt.

Is there such a text based game for Harry Potter? BTW, some also call
these
types of games RPG - Role Playing Games. Dungeons and Dragons was ocular
with the kids at high school although I never got into it - too busy
demolishing baddies on the PlayStation!

Hi Jackie
You know what you might enjoy if you like strategy? Incredibly, even
though
they don't have sound, I enjoy playing them more then many blind games,
they're text-based interactive fiction. In a way you can play them with
other people, because what they are are games where you use the keyboard
to
type in commands for your player to do, like there is a sentence on the
screen saying that there's a door, so you then type "open door" or some
other command to make things happen.
Many of these games are based on books. I've got the Hitch hiker's Guide
to
the Galaxy, Adrian Mole, and a very classic one called Zork. I've also got
Sherlock Holmes and The Hobbit, but can't get them to work. There files
are
.z80 files and I can't find an accessible program to run them with. Have a
look at
