Yes, lets not say and accept that it is not normal, lets take the time and
continue a high standard  that this list has enjoyed over the last few

Hi.

i'll say on this point having things explained to you can be a rarity.  If
you ask why people may take the time to explain it but not always.

I agree whole heartedly that it's much nicer and does produce a more
effective result when it's explained rather than dictated but often as not
it's the exception rather than the rule in my experiences outside the VI
lists.

Just as a warning for people who may join high traffic tech lists moderators
don't always have the time to explain things.

I do agree we should make the effort though.  As this is not only a piece of
netiquette but also a part of common curtisy.
