Hi Andrew,

Very useful. Thanks for that link. I have done it before, but that is a
good explanation.

All the best

Hi Jackie,

I agree doing a format is a big job, however, I have been having a look at
the unattended set up, and I was able to completely re-format a machine
without any sighted assistance.

Normally I use Ghost to create an image of my system, but it was very cool
to be able to do a format myself without any eyes around. <Smile>.

If anyone is interested in having a read about Windows XP Unattended
Installation.

Hi Steve

Oh yeah the old mute has cropped up once or twice.

What I would say Steve is that you are extremely competent at doing updates
etc, and that's commendable. But not everyone has the knowledge nor
confidence,. I wouldn't, for example, restore my hard drive without my son
being present to at least get us to the point where we can install JAWS.
I'm not saying it can't be done without sight, I'm just saying that the
degree of experience and confidence in this scenario matters a lot, and
differs greatly among users.

Jackie
