I agree with what Katie wrote. The patron of the bill, Del. Griffith, did a poor job of presenting the bill. His witnesses were not forceful, and some seemed not well prepared at all. I knew all was lost from the first witness for the bill. However, I think Del. Griffith was trying to show the economic impact of birders when he asked for the cost of the binoculars. It didn't help, however, when one of the committee members pointed out that there were other birds to watch! Margaret
