Notes:

There will only be a couple hours time elapse between this week's sim and next. Medical. It seems you have a little mystery on your hands. OPS and Science it's your duty to get whatever data you can from the slip-stream relay. If you have any questions as to what to post, just ask.

Officers present: Commodore Fyrstk, Lt Commander Marqusa, Lts. Haas & Lost, Lt jg Tracy, Dr. Melody.
Absent: Lt. Dawson, Dr. Hamza, Ensign Rose
Guest player: Lt. Svonn, CO of the USS Athena

Lt. Haas was ordered to answer the hail he received from the USS Athena, after he and Lt. Tracy had ascertained that the transmission was genuine. A subspace/slip-stream communications link was established between the two ships. They learned the original CO of the lost ship, Captain Namid, was placed in stasis, along witht he ship's XO. Lt. Svonn had taken command of the vessel and they were trying to find a way home. The link was broken when a component in the communications relay overheated and the unit shut down in self preservation.

In sick bay, two crewmen had showed up for medical attention. Both crewmen, though from different departments on the ship, had an unexplained rash. The medical staff must now ascertain whether this is an isolated incident or if it is becoming a shipwide problem.
