David.. one of the big things about this group is a lot of people dont have
the expertise to understand the old dos means .. and if they have ME aint no
dos unless you make a dos boot disk which again a lot of people here havent
the faintest idea.. so if it can be done simply without all the hassle of
writing etc ,then it fully accomplishes the objective...what happens in many
instances when a person who has a rudimentary knowledge of a subject is
overloaded with all sorts of data they create greater problems than
before.... to teach properly one must always take into account the level of
everyone in the group.. from the highest to the lowest level to be an
effective teacher,otherwise the lesson is lost... and what makes it difficult
with a group like this is is near impossible to know where those levels are.
that has been a major lesson I had drilled into me while learning to
teach other individuals in either a classroom setting or a hands on
procedure..... and those who had the advanced knowledge were soon apparent
and could then be developed in their quest for even furtehr advanced
