Arrrrrrrrrrrgh! And god forbid something happens and you come in to find
the server stuck at the doggone F1 prompt. :( I used to have a 75 minute
commute (minus the 4' of snow) ... Try hauling down the 1-25 corridor at
110mph with your boss screaming in your ear cuz he got woke up in Greece.
Would someone please perfect teleportation already?
I do miss the old days of Winframe. The only way we could distribute a
Paradox database and make it usable. :)

Reboots, weekly. But I'm running an OS that's so old, if it were any older

On a side note, I was wondering how many of you have a reboot schedule
enable on your Metaframe farm. What OS and the how often you reboot. IF
you stagger the reboots in different parts of the farm, etc.
I've a client who absolutely refuses to schedule reboots on the farm, They
have Windows 2000 farm and firmly believe that Windows 2000 does NOT require
reboots. I believe that part of the problem is that they do not want
unattended reboots, as they are afraid servers will not come back up. Seems
kinda funky to me, but I wanted to get a feel for what the rest of the
communicty is doing.

Since it's Friday I thought I'd ask something that I've been wondering for a
long time.
I'm a consultant and I focus 100% on Citrix and server-based computing.
While I work with a lot of different IT departments, I've never actually had
to run my own Citrix farm day after day. (Which means I'm either totally
lucky or a total sham!)
Anyway, as Citrix administrators, what's the one thing that's the biggest
pain in the butt in running your Citrix farms? Printing? AV? Security
Patches? Profiles?
Hmm. maybe I should say "other than the users, what's the biggest pain?"
