How do the Samsungs compare, noise-wise? Seagates have been the
quietest that I've found so far. All the WD ones I've used shred my
nerves.
They're the quietest drives I know of. Quieter even than the Seagates,
although the difference isn't that great in real terms.
I find WDs to be a bit of a mixed bag. Some are okay (not as good as the
Samsungs, though) and some are a bit louder than I'd like.
