This set looks like new still inside, no leaking on any caps and no black
residue anywhere. Found this on the TechAssist website but the cap in my set
is good.

38.) Bob Hibbard, Make: Panasonic, Model: CT36HX41E, Chassis CT32HX41,
Problem: Set intermittently shuts down. Must unplug to turn on again.,
Cure: C524 (.22uf 100V) in the ABL circuit shorted (no ABL operation causing
shutdown) Replace with .22uf 250V device to prevent repeat failure. RJH
I am at a loss on this set I remember at one time someone tried to download
the schematic but it didn't work so it was taken off maybe they can try to
upload it again. Leonard Caillouet told me the file name was
CT-32HC43G_SIMP.zip in the downloads area. I am thinking the problem is in
the ABL or x-ray protect area but I need the schematic and this is a shop
set so trying to keep the cost down since I already put in a new flyback.
