You folks are lucky.
We have ambulance services closing their doors every day because the Medicare 
system doesn't pay near
enough on a per call basis. In this area, only about 25% of the ambulance 
services are left compared to
bout 10 years ago.
Now there are regional services, not local. If your local is tied up on calls, 
you get injured and have to
wait for the mutual aid response, you better say your prayers.

Here in Ontario they cover 100%.
I,m 58 years old and I have never paid a cent
for a hospital or doctors visit.
There is great peace of mind knowing that if
I need medical services, I won't go broke with the bills.
