I had hopes of maybe finally trying to fly an EX on EX day. Guess DA 2012 is the ticket. --- On Fri, 10/14/11, bkhdalb <bkhdalb@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: bkhdalb <bkhdalb@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tccrockets] Re: Attn: Brian Dalby To: tccrockets@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Friday, October 14, 2011, 8:26 AM right on jack From: JACK GARIBALDI Sent: Friday, October 14, 2011 8:13 AM To: wlmailhtml:/mc/compose?to=tccrockets@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tccrockets] Re: Attn: Brian Dalby Do It on EX day and we will treat it like a Shawn motor ( sorry Shawn couldn't resist ) and put it at the away cell. Those AT 18m D loads have some seriously small nozzle throats. Tripling up the grains will triple the burn surface area. To keep the Kn ratio in the realm of the realistic, a good starting place would be to also triple the nozzle throat area. You have some geometry homework to do... 8^) Even then... No guarantees. Might go boom. IIRC, those are C-slot grains. J ----- Original Message ----- From: wlmailhtml:/mc/compose?to=chvy91bowtie@xxxxxxx To: Paul M. Brian was talking to me at DA about wishing he could put all three grains from an aerotech 18mm 3pk of reloads in one case. So I said I can do that. Last night I finally got around to it. The case holds all three grains and a delay grain for possible tracking. The forward closure is plugged on this one but could use the delay and charge. Will it work? Someone else will definately know better than I. Sent from my HTC on the Now Network from Sprint! ----- Reply message ----- From: "Paul M. Not sure if it will work but I think it looks pretty cool. I will bring a set to October Skies for you. The shiny object in the center is a dime for scale.
