My e71 is not reading them when I write them. I have punctuation turned off and when the cursor arrives on it I hear what I can only describe as a click sound. -original message- Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Smily Face From: Amro Bilal <Lists@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 27/10/2009 1:50 pm That's right, Carol. You can do them with or without the dashes. Actually if predictive text is turned on, pressing number 1 twice gives you the smiley face. If you press number 1 twice then cycle through the predictions with the star key the sad face is the second or third item on the list of predictions. I thought the dash wasn't used but maybe you can do it either way. -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Twitter: http://twitter.com/songbird49a ---- Original Message ---- From: Eleanor Burke To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, October 26, 2009 11:01 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Smily Face > i forget how to write this when I write a text message. > I think Carol is one person who can tell me how to do it. > How is it that talks is able to recognize the image and > call it a smily face.
