Well, Talks only says smiley face and so on when reading line by line or read
all. So Talks won't say smiley when you're writing a message or if you read by
characters or words...

  Cheers,

Hi nobody has been able to answer my query, I do not have talks say smily
face when I write it in a text message on my e71. Like I said I just get some
sort of 'click' sound. Strange that as when someone sends one to me, it says
smily face.

Ah! I must give that a go and not go the long way round! That will get me
to use them more!
