Chris·tian (krschn)
adj.
1. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on
the life and teachings of Jesus.
2. Relating to or derived from Jesus or Jesus's teachings.
3. Manifesting the qualities or spirit of Jesus; Christlike.
4. Relating to or characteristic of Christianity or its adherents.
5. Showing a loving concern for others; humane.

n.
1. One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion
based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
2. One who lives according to the teachings of Jesus.

It says nothing about having faith in God. Most of the so-called
Christians I know do not live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Most
will
tell you they have faith in Jesus. My reading of the Bible tells me that
Jesus was a person not a god. The Bible says that "we are all God's children",
but that does not make us all gods. The Bible also says "ye shall put no
other gods before me". Nowhere does it go on to say "...except my son
Jesus". That is why I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ but do not go
to
any church.

RR,

I'm not an authority on the subject, but I think being a Christian DOES
imply having faith in God. If not, what does being a Christian imply to you?

 RG,
Being a Christian does not imply that you have faith in God. You don't
have to belong to any religion to have faith in God. Most of the so-called
Christians I know are a bunch of hypocrites, like during that Republican
debate when Ron Paul quoted the words of Jesus Christ, "Do unto others..." and
all the so-called Christians booed him.

Those who have faith in God know what I'm talking about. Those who don't
don't. I suspect that those who do not have faith in God are losers who feel
they were short changed in life and are envious of those who have more
than they do. I grew up in the inner city of Detroit with a single mom who
wasn't even an American citizen and I never begged anybody for help, and
certainly not the government.

RR,

Would this apply to the millions who have been murdered because they were
Christians?
