this sounds like someone who advocates for zero population growth - is that
what you intended to say? you posted something last week that intimated
that your dogs live to be 26+ years old. i highly doubt you meant it to
sound that way but perhaps you need to reread your posts before you send
them. condescension toward a group that contains many successful
breeders/exhibitors will never get your point(s) across - even those, few and
far
between that they may be, that make sense.
we have all had dogs with health issues. if we continue to have dogs,
they will have health issues. they are living creatures and it goes with the
territory. to assume that one writer, in this case willis, has all the
answers and all those answers are 100% correct, is ignorant at best. we have
read many books on the subject and none of us has all the answers and we
never will. should we then, by your line of thought, destroy the breed and
be done with it? if that's your point, please find another hobby. it's
offensive.

a serious health issue that could be passed on to your children
would you have them? Point being if a dog can pass on a known health or
temperament issue why would you want to breed them on?
