[ SHOWGSD-L ] memorable K-9 stories

probably my favorite is about a bitch named Cara, she was a typical alpha
bitch. We had been at training class one night and stopped at a restaurant with
a
group on the way home. Cara wanted to join us in the restaurant and was quite
put out when I made her get back inside the van. I always let her ride loose
until this night.
We had dinner and as dog people tend to do sat and talked for a while after.
When we left and returned to the parking lot Cara was sitting on the passenger
side of the van. I opened the door and could only stare and laugh, there in
the drivers seat was a gift from her. The message was clear!! She wasn't happy
to have been left out of dinner.
I've always tried to imagine just what went through her head and how she
got herself into the correct position to dump right in the middle of my
captains
seat. It took some real thinking on her part. I'm sure there are a couple
people on the list who were with me that night and remember it. Cara always let
you know how she felt about things. She was a trip!
