I am not sure how they did it last time, but I would imagine something could
be set up so that dogs could be shown in either the region they were
born/nominated or (if sold) the region where the current owners live. JMO

That's a really good idea Jeff, except for people like me. During the last
few years, I've bought GSDs from breeders in Missouri and Minnesota. I live in
NY. If they had to be shown in the breeders' regions, I would have chosen NOT
to show them (due to distance and <maybe> I wouldn't have liked the judge in
those particular regions.) Just a thought.
