I had a gal call me once and ask. Would it be too much to ask the puppy to stay
in it's crate all night, out to potty and get a drink then spend the day in the
crate while the owner was a work. They would try to make in home on their lunch
brake to let the puppy out to potty and get a drink.
I told her that I had a small broom closet and if she would please come on over
for the next 24 hrs and I would let her in the closet and then out on the same
schedule she had in mind for the puppy. End of conversation. :0) She hung up on
me. Gee I wonder why. Why do people ask permission to do something they know
is wrong.

I for one PARTIALLY agree with Nancy - It is one thing for dogs to sleep in
cages at night , and to want to go into them BUT I would never sell a puppy
or dog to people who both worked all day and intended to leave the animal
caged while they were gone everyday for 8-9 hours. I tried it once and
ended up getting neurotic dog who was impossible to house break.
Now before you jump all over me - do what you want - this is my opinion and
