I've measured some modern Lisco and Fidelity holders with a depth micrometer
and they have been well within the ANSI spec.   Maybe this "guru" doesn't
understand that the spec has a tolerance (+/-0.007 inch) and that this
tolerance is quite reasonable compared to the depth of focus at the taking
aperture.  Maybe they got a bad batch.  Maybe he is trying to sell Toyo holders.

Since you've never observed focus problems with your holders, it doesn't seem
that you need to throw them away.

P.S.  Fidelity and Lisco are currently the same manufacturer.
