I have used all three you name below. I love the stream and the plex pocket. The booksense I liked, but it had a little more complex structure to what was going on. Each one has its own way of storing files on the sd card. the plex uses probably the simplest file storing structure. The stream has you putting your books into designated folders so that the stream knows how to deal with them; same with the book-sense. But, alas, the folders for all three are different. However, the plex pocket does seem to be able to read stuff, regardless of the strange folder set-up. for I've put cards in that were made for the stream and the plex deals with the files pretty well. I haven't tried the plex pocket for stereo recording yet, though I've got a plextalk 2 that I use all the time for all kinds of recordings. I bought my plex pocket from a user who had too many machines. I have already sold my book sense to someone else. I just haven't figured out how to enable the network on the plex pocket yet. I can't wait to be able to play internet radio with the pocket; or add more stations to what might be there.

I teach school, so have very limited time to do private learning.
Best, Penny. ask away.
If I see the question, I'll surely answer.

Great, I listened to the FSCast about the Plextalk Pocket with great interest. With the Freedom Scientific Special Introductory Offer, I'll be ordering one in the next few days? I was wondering how Plextalk pocket users like it as compaired to the Victor Reader Stream or Booksense?
