Hi there, first participation in this, hope i'm getting the right idea
about this conversation.

Couldn't these items have a tag themselves? Like some sort of designation
in their description, maybe in parentheses , i.e.: Sommerswerd (Magical
Weapon). And incidentaly Helgast texts would just warn that you need an
item with said designation, whatever item or designation it may be, i.e.:
instead of "if you posses the Sommerswerd" it could read "If you posses a
Magical Weapon", hence dispensing the footnote.

Now, i realize that dropping the Sommerswerd might happen, but these
gamebooks are all about choice and consequence. I understand that maybe the
Sommerswerd may not be needed for ALL dangers we may face in the future,
afterall it was stashed there at Durenor for centuries right? If it was so
important the Lone Wolf needs to carry it around at ALL times, it doesn't
make any sense to have been kept hidden for all this time. Specialy since
only a Kai Lord may weild it, and its main purpose is to fight the
Darklords and its minions. Alas, if the Sommerswerd is specificaly needed,
having dropped it, it's only consequence that this Kai Lord's life and
adventure should end. I realize this may be frustrating as this may happen
several books ahead. But such is life and adventuring.
