We could also change 08tjoh to make things consistent, but that's a
slightly unwieldy list. It would read:

"If you possess the Sommerswerd, the Dagger of Vashna, the Jewelled
Mace, or the Magic Spear, turn to 308."

That would allow us to add an unobtrusive "or the Magic Spear" to the
sections in 03tcok.

What do you think?
FWIW it sounds like a good idea to me. This is an inconsistent gameplay issue that should be resolved, and this is the best way to do it--no footnote! :-)
