How did you move the dbx folders? You must let Windows move them.
What are the properties when you right click on the dbx file you can not get 
into? It might really be empty because of some other thing you did. dbx file 
folders are picky.
Can you try another mail program and try to import these folders into it.

This is a program that will recover .dbx files. You can try it free but the 
full version is $45. ouch lol


You could probably find a free solution by searching the newsgroup:
 "microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress"
or ask your question in there.
