what are 'all scans' ? did you scan with panda online for viruses? and spybot and ad-aware? or a2? if something is on your computer, it should show up somewhere!!! I'm not good at this stuff if it doesn't show up on scans - but I try a bunch of different ones, because they all seem to look for different things. It is SO annoying :-) Dolores ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dolores" <inquisitive@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 17, 2004 4:06 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- question #1 regarding ability to click on links in an e-mail and open in OE I am running 98SE (along with a demon who has taken control!) Something is obviously on this computer but all my scans show nothing. Anyhow I had problems with outlook express emptying folders at random and a bunch of quirky things. I had to uninstall (for some reason when I took OE 6 off I still have OE5 but it's not listed in the add-remove list) and reinstal four times and now it seems to be okay (fingers crossed!). Today I discovered this newest problem - someone will put a link in an e-mail, I will click on it, OE will open but the address doesn't carry over so I have to manually type the address in. I have looked through all the settings I can think of but maybe have missed one and would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
