Yes, keyboards come with USB plugs.  Almost exclusively.  A few 
(cheap) ones still have PS/2 plugs and some come with adapters to fit 
either or.

I recommend wireless sets to minimize the number of USB ports needed 
since they are very limited in number on laptops,
