RESPONSE
I figure the laptop is about 10 pounds and another couple of pounds for the
accessories. You can get cases with wheels on them if that is easier for
you.
RETURN RESPONSE
I really wouldn't want to count on that as I would be dragging my luggage
that is on wheels - I was quite the sight on that trip as went by myself but
I managed to keep track of everything and chivalry is not lost as both in
Frankfurt and in the US someone helped me get my luggage off the luggage
carousel

RESPONSE
Only you, in the end, can determine if it is worth it to you, but it does
seem there would be an advantage to you.
RETURN RESPONSE
yes I know that I do believe itwould be a good buy for me as there is going
to come a time when I will not be mobile at all and that's when I will
appreciate it

RESPONSE
On my laptop there is enough space on the laptop, to the right and left of
the touch pad to use the mouse. I have once or twice used it that way. With
an optical mouse, they can be used on just about any surface, including (but
not suggested) you pants on your legs. LOLOL All you need with the optical
is a surface that reflects light. All surfaces reflect light, just some do
it better than others. With a wheel mouse, the surface becomes a little more
critical. The surface on your kitchen table, coffee table, etc will be good
enough. But you have wires all over the place, but not with the wireless.
:-) I reall like that aspect, I do.
RETURN RESPONSE
I think Iwould like both the wireless keyboard and mouse as if I had to I
could get used to the touch pad but it would take awhile - I have typed all
my life and have good speed so will find the touch pad frustrating until I
could learn to control it

RESPONSE

OOOOOOO I did neglect one deciding factor in my getting this particular
model is it takes a memory stick which works with the Sony digital camera
that I bought the lovely little lady previously for a birthday present.
RETURN RESPONSE
we won't even go there! I bought a new digital to take on my trip and had
two memory sticks as they were out of the larger one - took what I
considered some wonderful pictures of Berlin (Checkpoint Charlie, remains of
the wall, etc.) Pottsdam and two other Germany cities - then somehow in the
process of changing the batteries I LOST the memory stick - the price of the
stick wasn't as hard to take as the loss of the irreplaceable pictures :-(

Don't stress over it. I mentioned the stuff cause it would behoove you to be
prepared rather then find out all this after you bought it, like I did. :-)
Now you can make a better educational decision.
RETURN RESPONSE
oh I understand and that's exactly why I am asking for feedback

Two other things.
One get as much memory as you can afford.
TWO LOLOLOL I forgot what two is.
RETURN RESPONSE
oh believe me I know about memory as have 512 in my desktop and the hard
drive is a big factor also - when I replace my desktop I will buy the
biggest hard drive they are making at the time - well actually 2 of them so
need to make sure I have the extra slots. This Dell is 3 1/2 years old and
I was able to add 256 ram of memory, another hard drive, a CD burner (I have
a 250 zip drive) and then externally my digital camera hookup, second
printer so it had more than enough room to expand which I was happy about

OK Deloris let me answer your questions in the email you sent.
RETURN RESPONSE
now I have to pick <gr> my name is spelled the 'original' way it's spelled
by Italians and Spaniards - Dolores - never can remember which is which but
in one language is means pain and the other sorrow - not a very uplifting
name but I like it :-)
thanks again to you and Foxhillers (?) for all the help you have given me -
time to go watch a movie! Dolores
