Hi Christine,
  I prefer the older version as well but since I do use Word for some 
business documents, as few as they are, I decided to upgrade. There is no 
tools option, but I found out where I located Macros from in Safe Mode. On 
View tab, there is Macro and I checked but there is nothing close to Macro 
security settings but Microsoft has nice online help so I'll hunt it doiwn 
hopefully but thanks for the reply.
