My Dish Network receiver has a large hard drive, an external USB hard drive, two satellite receivers and one OTA receiver. I can record three HD programs (two from satellite, one VSB OTA) while watching a fourth program. Actually, the box has two separate outputs, so I might be able to hook it up to two TVs and record 3 and watch 2 all simultaneously. (it's, I think, a ViP 622 which has been replaced by the 722 which is the same box with a bigger internal hard drive).
