Did we rule out a corrupt pst file yet? Did you try the Inbox Repair Tool?
Did you try creating a new pst and dragging your folders from the old one
into the new one?

Those are the things you need to try, I think...I really doubt an error in
your settings would cause Outlook to freeze and crash and your help menus
would give errors. I believe this is more than just a setting.

If you create a brand new empty pst and open that, does Outlook open
quicker? Does your help file work?

And, yes, we have discussed how to get rid of the equal signs in your email
here...many times...Greg figured it out and gave us the solution...it's
here:

DL'd ad installed the SP's, rebooted, but no change. I can't help but =
think
I have either done something wrong or have an error in my settings =
somehow.
Or, maybe I just plain don't know what I'm doing. =20

I wonder why my msgs are showing that =3D20 thing, too. If I could stay =
at
the computer long enough to catch up on everything in this group, I'd
probably know the answer to that, too. =20

Thanks bunches,
Nan
