Let me know offlist if you have any questions about photoshop Tina. I
teach it also (tho graphics ain't my best trick)

And as to your question about Outlook not spreading worms, etc...well,
that's not a promise I'm willing to make, but I can only tell you that
outlook's preview pane isn't as dangerous as OE's....and when I say that
embedded scripts can't be viewed in email (well at least not without
some MAJOR tweaking which we've discussed in here before), I'm only
talking about Outlook 2002, so if you have Outlook 2000, they still can
be. (unless you download that add-in I sent you the link for that
converts all email to plain text)....in html, if there's a malicious
script EMBEDDED in the mail in Outlook 2000, it WILL be launched in the
Preview Pane...however, like I said, attachments are not automatically
launched like they are in OE....you still have to double click on an
attachment to launch...even in Preview Pane.

Hope this explains it more clearly.

mmmm perhaps I've been worrying about the wrong thing then?
.. I should have been asking about what preview DOES ... not
just about preview .....

Outlook can do this EVERY time? .... no virus/worm/trojon
yet that can get around this feature of outlook's
security?....

... got to get to bed now.. pick this up in the morning:)

ta Linda... btw started my Photoshop course.. the teacher
gave us some handouts.. which were basically what was in the
help files.. told us to have a play.. I can do that at
home... grrrr.... hope next week she gives us a task.. and
explains in details what stuff means. but just being in the
class gives me more confidence with the application.. though
everyone there thinks of ps as application to be used with a
camera .. me I'm thinking from the web point of view...

c u tomorrow:)

Tina
