Yes Tina....I mentioned in a previous reply to you that auto preview might be your solution, if you wanted to use Outlook....auto preview is plain text and doesn't launch scripts...it just shows you the first line or two of the mail. With Outlook 2002, I don't need to worry so much about previewing mail from people I don't know....since most embedded scripts don't run by default....if there's a script embedded in the mail, I just get a blank white email with a little note above it telling me it had a script that Outlook can't display...and Outlook doesn't auto launch attachments like OE does, so it's not nearly as dangerous. I don't know anything about the free email programs....I don't use them...but the ones I hear the best things about are Calypso, Eudora, PocoMail, and The Bat....but I can't recommend any firsthand. LOL... it's the way I use oe.. I'm so used to it:) I'm not sure I can change now... now I know this question is way off topic but are there any free email editors you would recommend? ah thought... there is this little auto preview in outlook.. .can you run into virus trouble using that? .. forgot to ask this before... and if you don't use preview how do you know what the email is about? (I mean when your not sure about it?)
