I should have been asking about what preview DOES ... not just about preview ..... Outlook can do this EVERY time? .... no virus/worm/trojon yet that can get around this feature of outlook's security?.... ... got to get to bed now.. pick this up in the morning:) ta Linda... btw started my Photoshop course.. the teacher gave us some handouts.. which were basically what was in the help files.. told us to have a play..
