Hi, Not sure I understand what his thread is about but think it's about not having the preview pain open in folders. Couldn't you just go into "view menu", "layout" and turn off folder bar and preview pain in there??. An addition from Linda Tina, I followed the directions to make Outlook No Preview like this: I right clicked on my desktop and selected New, Shortcut. Then I did Browse to where Outlook.exe is & clicked ok. The in the shortcut address, after the " mark, I typed a space /nopreview. Then I renamed the shortcut to Outlook No preview. Then I deleted all the other shortcuts for Outlook, one on the desktop & the one in the quick launch bar. I put a short cut to Outlook No Preview in the quick launch bar. Now I never get the preview pane. You can do it! I know you are a master of FrontPage & that is a lot harder!
