Hi Tim

Thanks for your kind offer, however on rummaging around the garage I found a 
soil testing kit (the sort where you add a lime solution to a soil sample 
and compare the colour with a chart).  Do you reckon I could use this?  If 
so, what ratio of acid to lime should I use?
