Hi Alan

I had a look at one of Modelworks locos on their strand at the Dorset Steam
Rally this year and was amazed to see that one of the front wheels could be
moved in all directions independent of the other wheel. The rear wheels
were just loose on their axles after that I went back to find proper
examples of engineering!

Although I didn't look too closely a part built 4" traction engine standing
there looked more promising.

Brian

As some of you may have seen, there has been a discussion on Andy Clarke's
Board about Modelworks.
Indeed, there is a section of that Board devoted to them and their
predecessors, and some of the posts there make ones hair curl!

For a number of reasons I have been watching them (Modelworks) closely.

Has anyone any recent experience of them, or know of people who are
presently receiving and constructing kits?
