Good Evening VUs & DX Friends,
Just returned from factory with bag full of PCB.
Minor corrections & Masking have already done by me
(with cost of FILMS twice, but not included) ;)
Cost of per set PCB only (Exiter + Si570 VFO + Serial Board) ) is
coming approx Rs 70/- each.
after packaging & printing (manual) etc it might go Rs 100/- or say =
$ 1.5 US approx (in round-figure),
Also I wish to dispatch by EMS speed post, coz it's reliable.
I have made all PCB in *best available quality, if we talk of
lamination & copper thickness ETC.
I could have managed per set with in Rs 30/- with Paper phenolic,
but skipped it coz PCB-Paper-Phenolic gets bend after aging.

After brief discussion with Farhan, I am also planning printing MINIMA
manual, systematic, component list etc.
so that you need not print it individually, & zerox-copy along with
PCB will be more economic & handy
(will also provide extra protection layer for PCB in transportation)
we will finalize late-night today, what ever needs to be printed...
or you guys can also suggest me, if need any extra hard copy attached.
printing will be done by tomorrow first-half only, here at my end.
Will try dispatch tomorrow onwards if all goes OK.

So now you should start collecting components from electronic-shop
nearby you, (this is true home-brewing & great learning)
use MFR (check with magnet weather leads made of iron, skip them coz
it catches rust) same goes with BJT
use multilayer plastic coated bypass caps.
VHF-TV Guanella cores (binocular) are available here (depending on
size) Rs 1~2 each & I can send.
If have any difficulty in getting relays in your locality, please do
not hesitate to mail me, I’ll be more than happy to send you in
whatever whole-sale coast price...
but in that case you guys need to give me 15 days of downtime, coz I
visit big-electronics-only-market once in fortnight for M-QTH purpose,
& it's 14KM away.
