If you would like to help shape the future of LuaJIT as part of a team
of maintainers, please apply here on the mailing list. Thank you!

Sorry to jump in late here, but I would be very interested in helping
in whatever way I can.

I've been using LuaJIT for rapid development of numerical/scientific
computing applications for 5+ years. I have written a number of
transpilers in my time, but beyond that I have little non-academic
experience with compilers. So maybe that means I'm not likely to
be useful on feature work.

But I am pretty patient at collecting bug repros :) And I have taught
several people how to bring LuaJIT into their workflows (mostly
non-Lua folks) so I think I have a reasonable grasp on helping
people past the "first timer experience" and seeing what they can
get from LuaJIT that they would struggle to get elsewhere. So maybe
I can help with documentation, as just one idea.

Once again Mike, many thanks for your years of dedicated work and
a truly excellent piece of software.

Cheers,
Demetri
