Stefan, Thanks for your interest. liblouis already has hyphenation algorithms that use the same tables. They are used for some languages and braille codes that have complicated rules about contractions that cross syllable boundaries. liblouisxml calls liblouis functions that use these algorithms for hyphenation at the ends of lines.
