Hi George,
I'm not sure, but maybe I'm the one with the screwed brain about equipment
with much of the babblefest of late re... "all the various types of gear
cross breeding for this and that or whatever?"

But during my complete career I never ever put anymore than maybe 1 IOTA of
thought into gear. I used Leica's! PERIOD!
End of gear thoughts or considerations. If I needed a longer lens I got
one...... Leica! Body? Leica! Out of the box and into photo taking battle!
KISS! A no brainer! If it cost a bunch of dollars and I didn't have the
money to buy it? Borrowed the money from the bank, got the lens or whatever
and got on with the assignment! Obviously paid for it when the cheque from
shooting the assignment came in!

Today???????? Lord Jeeeessssuuusssus boy! It's a never ending conversation
about hitching one kind of lens to another kind of camera body and back and
forth...... cross breeding like flies! Quite often by people who've never
had either in their hands shooting under pressure of delivering the goods
for payment. Let alone just for pleasure!

Always seem's we get into way too much conversation about gear, full frame
or tweaked size instead of out taking pictures and damn the technical
torpedoes .... "FULL STEAM A HEAD MAKE EXPOSURES FOR FUN!"

Maybe I'm off track here, but sometimes this whole gear thing really becomes
quite wasteful time when many of the posters could use their time graciously
enjoying the day simply taking photos with whatever gear they have in hand.
Am I wrong?

This is after all about "TAKING PICTURES WITH A LEICA.... ISN'T IT?" Thank
you.

cheers,
Dr. ted
