But Jaimie, the late 60's and early 70's was the BIG BANG of rock music, the
nucleus of every genre and sub-genre in rock music today. I believe
personally that it was the most creative period in rock.

Wow...how absolutely judgmental.

The '60s and '70s were great, admittedly. But to say it's the be all and end
all? Sorry, man....most of my musical creativity came IN the '80s when I was
part of the '80s musical movement as an artist. Give me a DX7 or a JUNO 108
or an EMU and leave those farting old farfisas and moogs where they
belong....in the pawn shops....collecting dust.

Personally, I'd rather listen to ANYTHING from post-WWII 1940s to early
'50s. Pop music especially. It's honest, it's earnest and it had NO artistic
agenda. It was there to feed the feet and the hearts of the people.
