Everything is going to sound "dated" if it's not the current style of
popular music. However, it should come down to whether or not you like
that style, or have other reason to buy it.
Beatles sounds "dated" but it's a style I enjoy and I buy their music.
Klaatu sounds "dated" but it's a style I enjoy and I buy their music.
