A bigger monitor with the same resolution is the same as having the smaller one closer to you! ;-) Casual buyers may not notice that 19" (4:3) screens often have the same native resolution as 17" (4:3) screens: 1280x1024. To obtain a widescreen (16:9) with the same vertical resolution, a >20" model has to be obtained. Physically, a 20.5" (16:9) is about as tall as a 17" (4:3). 1440 x 900 widescreens seem often about as tall as a 15" (4:3). > He could always put the screen on its side and use one of the Geminus > packages to see a full A4 page. Not at 100% zoom admittedly .... but ~96% in Artworks is pretty close and allows for window furniture. :-) www.timil.com/temp/LCDmonitors.gif T --=20 Tim Hill, <URL:http://www.timil.com/> --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
