I have Castle supplied Iiyama AU4831D 19" 1600x1200. I have "conned" it
into displaying 2048x1536 with this :-

# 2048 x 768 (61Hz)
startmode
mode_name:2048 x 1536
x_res:2048
y_res:768
pixel_rate:130000
h_timings:200,150,82,2048,128,8
v_timings:3,40,0,768,0,10
sync_pol:0
endmode

As displays go rubbish is a word that comes to mind but it does show
what is being missed by have something as small as 1600x1200.
