Well, the OEM price for Windows XP is $20 or less, for big guys (like
Dell etc.). Since there is hardly any incremental costs for software
for additional copies sold, they can undercut the price as much as
they want (and say, ask for a much higher amount at the next upgrade).
However he is also human being and may prove me wrong, which I hope
will not happen.
I too hope the project is a massive success and a trend setter for
other state governments (Hyderabad - hint, hint :)
