does SDL support 3d sound?

as far as i know it doesnt.

maybe sdl_mixer does? but sdl_mixer all you hear is people asking about how
to find the correct buffer size so the sound doesnt lag or skip.

hes trying to keep it simple, like we all wish we could (:
